Now on the one hand when all the major leagues and football competitions have started, today we will look at who are the strong contenders to win which trophy in this new season 2024-25.
Premier League(2024-25 Season):
The Premier League football is back for the 2024-25 season, with play having kicked off this past Friday and running to the end of May next year.
Big clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool will all be eyeing the league crown, which means getting off to a great start and never letting up. Last season, it took a minimum of 25 wins out of 38 games to finish in the top three, meaning that the title contenders are all under pressure from day one.
Teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United will all be looking to close the gap with the front-runners after inconsistent performances last season, while an upstart Aston Villa side will be hoping to prove that last season’s fourth-place finish was no flash in the pan.
But even for this new season, Manchester City is considered a strong contender to win the Premier League. Hence, it remains to be seen whether Manchester City can defend their title or any other club will make their name across this year’s Premier League title.
LaLiga(2024-25 Season):
La Liga is here for 2024-25, with one of the world’s most entertaining soccer leagues set to capture global attention from August 2024 to May 2025.
Two of the world’s great soccer teams, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, headline La Liga and will once again be the favorites to claim glory in Spain’s top flight. Superstars like Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Junior, Robert Lewandowski, and teenage phenom Lamine Yamal will be giving it everything to claim supremacy in what is arguably the greatest rivalry in the soccer world.
However, La Liga is more than just its top teams. Atlético Madrid spent big trying to crash the party at the top, while institutions like Sevilla and Valencia will want to build themselves back up after disappointing play last season.
Despite the change of coach by Barcelona and the signing of big players by Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid are strong contenders to win La Liga again this year due to their squad depth and Ancelotti’s managing skills.
Bundesliga(2024-25 Season):
Excitement is building ahead of the start of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season, the action will get underway when title holders Bayer Leverkusen visit Borussia-Park to face Monchengladbach on August 23rd.
Can Leverkusen defend their record-breaking title victory of last term, or will German giants Bayern Munich bounce back under the stewardship of Vincent Kompany?
If we look at the Bundesliga this year, Bayern seems to bounce back from their previous season and make a name for themselves in the league, while Borussia Dortmund also seems to give a good fight.
Bayern Leverkusen, who came in as an underdog last season and became the first team to win the Bundesliga title after 11 years Except Bayern, are likely to finish in the top 4 this season.
Serie A(2024-25 Season):
As we gear up for another thrilling Serie A season, the anticipation among football fans is palpable. With plenty of business going on this summer.
Inter, the defending champions, are the favorites to win the 2024-25 Serie A title. Last season, the Nerazzurri showcased their strength by clinching the Scudetto with five games to spare and losing only two games in the league, earning a much coveted second star.
Juventus, determined to reclaim their dominance, are always in the mix for the title. Despite not winning the league for the past few seasons, they have made significant squad improvements this time around.
Last season’s runners-up, A.C Milan, are once again among the favorites to take the title – but there is a feeling they will need to bolster their squad during the summer if they are to get the job done.
Ligue 1(2024-25 Season):
Even without Kylian Mbappe, PSG have plenty of talent on their roster to win a fourth straight Ligue 1 title. In his first season in Paris, Luis Enrique lost just two league matches and his PSG will be looking to stay on top even without their all-time leading scorer, who left for Real Madrid.
With Marseille’s aggressive transfer strategy and some other dark horse teams, we’ll see PSG’s chances to win Ligue 1 again.
